St. Louis faces the Dallas Elite in the opening round on Saturday, June 27, at Albert Loos Stadium in Addison, TX. The winner of that contest advances to the WFA quarterfinals and faces the winner of the Arlington/Kansas City match-up, also held that same day.

St. Louis, the WFA National Champion in 2009, last appeared in the alliance’s post-season in 2013, where it advanced to the third round before being eliminated by the aforementioned Dallas.

The 2015 WFA National Championship game will be held in Los Angeles, California on August 8.

The SLAM (6-2) concluded its regular season Saturday night with a 57-0 road loss to the Chicago Force in a game that was called midway through the fourth quarter due to lightning. The Force (7-1) also made the field of 16 for the WFA playoffs and meets Cleveland in Round One.

Also over the weekend, six SLAM players were announced as WFA All-Americans. Named to the first team were Keyonna Smith, Alana Fields, Taylor Hay, Kendall Park and Kaylee Kneutzling while Jelani Kelly was named to the second team.

The SLAM will host a trivia night fundraiser this Friday at St. Elizabeth Church of Hungary (1420 South Sappington, St. Louis, MO). Tickets are $20 apiece or $150 per table. The event begins at 7 pm.
